| © Carrie Boyko Last Year on Earth Day Earth Day is kinda special to us pups at All Things Dog Blog. We went green for Xena, when we learned she had cancer in 2007. The doctors told mom that we needed to keep all stresses off of her liver, so removing chemicals was part of her treatment. She lived nearly 3 years longer, completely pain-free. That's why I'm sharing our Earth Day photo. I thought you guys would enjoy the memory too. |

Did She Say Blankies or Binkies?
by Tanner
I'm a Golden Retriever....you guys know that, right? I know I'm not the typical looking version, but my mom loves me. That's all that matters to me.
Today she's reminiscing about Xena, my packmate that we lost recently. Just like any other Retriever, Xena liked to carry things around in her mouth. It's a Retriever thing, I guess, but I never do it. No, not me!

We're One Dog Short of a Threesome :(
by Tanner and Oliver
Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our big sister. She has helped raise us both, kept us out of mischief and made sure we listened to mom.
We may be a bit less boisterous, take more pensive walks and spend more time napping, but there is no doubt we'll be thinking about her every time we smell her on a pillow, or remember her when we see her favorite spots to nap.
Our mom said goodbye to our Xena at All Things Dog Blog. She also placed her favorite picture of Xena in the All Things Dog Blog's Rainbow Bridge Memorial. We'll visit her often.
