Kurgo Cargo Cape
Keeps our Car Clean in Back
I have been working like a dog! Don't laugh. Mom has had me taking pictures of this cargo area cover, like, all day. I really need a nap now. I'll tell ya what. You can read her review over at All Things Dog Blog, and maybe you'd like to get in on her giveaway too, huh? That way I can skip telling you all the cool things about it, and just get down to the business of snoozing. Catch ya later!

I'm in Trouble!

by Oliver

I'll Stay Out of the Way Today
I'm in the doghouse today. It seems that my one new job didn't get done this week. So, even if I do it now, you'll only get a little bit of what's in store for the week. But here it is, the All Things Dog Blog lineup of topics coming your way shortly:

Pup Profiles returns for its periodic appearance with a loyal reader of our blogs; we love you, Sully!

Dog CPR instruction coming your way in video format. This is a good thing for all of us to know.

Dog lovers will delight to know where to find all the cheap or FREE iPhone apps.

Our giveaways this weekend will be blowouts: Greenies for all sizes of dogs, and our fashion extravaganza will mean beautiful leashes and bows for the ladies.

This week's product review will feature Tanner as the spokesmodel. Kurgo's Cargo Cape is keeping mom's car cleaner, and we've got a freebie to give away to you.

Today we're talking up the Walking Challenge, sponsored by Lessons from 4 Legs, our new partner in motivation to get our exercise.

We'll wrap up the weekend with an adoptable pet highlight set in Delaware and the surrounding areas.

Stay tuned to All Things Dog Blog for all the info you need to help your pups be happy and healthy. (How's that for a spokesdog line?!!)

Raise Your Paw for Biking

A Bow Wow Workout!
Mom and I love to bike. It's about as close as we'll ever get to jogging. She's just not a jogger. After her knee injury in January, I wasn't sure we'd ever get to bike again, but we're back in the saddle now. Yay!

Mom has joined up with her new friend Katie for the Walking Challenge, to make sure we stay motivated. I'm all for that, cuz us dogs gotta have our exercise. You can read all about the Walking Challenge at All Things Dog Blog, or visit Katie' site, Lessons from 4 Legs.

Girly Stuff at All Things Dog Blog

by Tanner

Real Men Walk their Dogs
Oliver is showing off for a girl over at All Things Dog Blog today. I have to admit I'm a little bit jealous, except for the whole fashion and themed outfits business. Oh brother!

Me and Dad took a walk like real men--without costumes. But I told mom I would share a couple of the pictures from the "photo shoot", so here they are.

Flashy Giveaways
Apparently Oliver and Cocoa, his latest Pooch Model-girlfriend, are playing dress up and looking all cute and stuff. Trust me, you wouldn't catch me doing that. Well, maybe for a girlfriend.

Oliver says Cocoa looks pretty good:

Cocoa the Pooch Model
I asked him to prove it when he got back inside and here's what he showed me:

Now you tell me, who got the fair end of this deal? I guess I have to admit I am jealous. I'm thinking maybe it's time for mom to have another photo blog hop so I can look for a new girlfriend.

Meanwhile I'll be surfing the Internet looking at Fabuleash and Puppy Kisses, the companies that are giving away dog bows and leashes on All Things Dog Blog. I bet they have some models too ;)

You can check out the giveaways at All Things Dog Blog. Catch ya later!

Earth Day Memories: Our Girl Xena

by Tanner
© Carrie Boyko
Last Year on Earth Day

Earth Day is kinda special to us pups at All Things Dog Blog. We went green for Xena, when we learned she had cancer in 2007. The doctors told mom that we needed to keep all stresses off of her liver, so removing chemicals was part of her treatment. She lived nearly 3 years longer, completely pain-free.  That's why I'm sharing our Earth Day photo. I thought you guys would enjoy the memory too.

Rabbit Treats? Where's My Bones?

by Tanner
Things are just getting way out of hand here. I'm used to getting nibbles and rewards that look like little dog bones. Sort of corny, I know, but I've grown used to the look of that shape and now suddenly I'm getting goofy dog biscuits.

First I got hearts at Valentines Day. Next we received Shamrocks, and today, they're rabbits. My mom!

The good news is they're full of chicken and carrots, two of my favorite things to eat. So why am I complaining? Good question. I'll shut up now. Happy Easter!

Oh, and I suppose I should tell you that you can find the recipe at All Things Dog Blog.

The All Things Dog Blog Weekly Preview

by Oliver
© Carrie Boyko
I Was Trying to Relax
I just got an assignment. Mom's been so busy blog hopping this weekend that she's asked me to do her weekly preview. Does she think I'm her assistant or something?

All right, Mom, I've checked your schedule for this week and this is the best I can do:

  • We're hosting a guest post from FIDO Friendly's own Carol Bryant, with a a little help from Dexter.
  • Tanner and I had fun taste-testing the Easter Rabbit cookie recipe. Can you guess what the secret ingredient is?
  • One of our readers has submitted our Wordless Wednesday photo. Don't miss Bucky the Bunny.
  • Just in time for Earth Day, we're sharing a very special movie trailer.
  • Mom's giving away stuff on Friday. We're not too happy about that.
  • Don't miss my modeling session on Saturday. I was the handsomest thing going on my walk with Miss Lizzi and my girlfriend Cocoa-Latte. She's pretty delicious, err, cute. This is a family blog; I have to watch myself.
  • I'll be modeling my own Easter outfit too. I guess Tanner is sort of being left out this week. Poor guy. I'll make sure he gets an extra Rabbit cookie.
Meanwhile, we're busy trying out all our new stuff we're reviewing. Stay tuned...

Our Rabby, Robby, Urges You to Adopt Your New Pet

by Oliver
© Carrie Boyko
Marc and Robby Enjoy a Close Bond
Our family's rabbit was adopted back in 2002 by Marc, while he was at college. Robby was a great college roommate, making no noise and having the freedom to explore Marc's computer cables at will.

It didn't take long for Marc to acquire some rugs to secure the cords out of access to the little guy. And Robby moved toward being a lap bunny, enjoying Marc's famous ear rubs. (I like them too!)

When a later roommate nixed the bunny addition to the room, Robby ended up living with us, much to our delight. Even Patches accommodated the little guy with curiosity. I tried to get him to play with me almost daily, but he wasn't much interested in me. I think I have permanent personality damage as a result. :(

While an adopted rabbit is clearly not a worry-free pet, it can be a pleasant and low maintenance one. No barking issues (I never do that!), no outdoor potty runs in the rain (ditto), no claw sharpening on the furniture. They do come with their interesting hobbies, though--primarily the love of chewing on plastic and rubber.Your iPod, TV, stereo and computer cables, as well as remote control buttons, are all at risk, so be sure to hide them well.

First and foremost, be sure you're ready for a pet who prefers a quiet home and will be with you for 8-12 years. This is a long term commitment for both of you, and should be permanent to offer him the security he deserves. Just like us dogs, bunnies like to know that home is home...for the long run. This security will result in a friendly bond with your new friend. Nose wiggles from Robby and tail wags from Oliver.

Now, go visit All Things Dog Blog, where you can check out rabbits that are available throughout the U.S. Have fun hare shopping at the other sites that have joined up in the linky list. It's a blog hop!

There's a Swamp Monster on the Kitchen Table!

by Tanner
© Carrie Boyko
Tanner is Sad to See this Fella Leave
Look who's on my kitchen table. I've been asking my mom if I could have that gator toy for months. She kept saying "No, Tanner. He's a prize."

I told her I am worthy. Today I heard her say he's leaving us next week. She got him out and took his picture; she even offered him up at All Things Dog Blog to her readers.

I'm so sad. Tomorrow I'm going to the lake to see if I can find me a real gator.

"Tanner; come Tanner",  mom cried.

As I bolted across the yard I saw mom with a new gator toy in her hand. She told me I get to keep this one. It's from Petstages, Oliver's favorite baby toy company. It makes cool noise.

Watch for more about my new gator toy at All Things Dog Blog. Mom will be giving some away when she does her posts on gator safety this summer. I get to help with the research. Cowabunga!

Prizes Go Both Ways!

by Oliver
© Carrie Boyko
"Mama's Baby"
Mom has Tanner and I working quite hard these days, checking in shipments and making sure we get our incoming product reviews organized. Today at All Things Dog Blog she had the nerve to post a picture of me sleeping on the job. How embarrassing! She'd fall asleep too if she were working this hard, but instead she's making us do all the work.

At least she managed to show off how Tanner and I are doing a great job supervising the deliveries. Somebody has to make sure they're all correct. We love taking inventory!

Even better, sometimes the packages are for US. Like my new bandana? It came all the way from the Netherlands from one of our readers, Miss Niki. She's so sweet; I'd like to kiss her, but she's too far away. :(

Miss Niki sent Tanner a bandana too. Mama took a picture of him wearing it so I'm sure you'll see it shortly. Meantime, if you want to win any of mom's great upcoming prizes, you'd better get over to All Things Dog Blog and subscribe--QUICK!

Okay. We'll Come.
So, we've decided to get over the fact that this  "mom" blog has a similar name to ours. We love our blog's name. We also love moms. We have one. Her name is Carrie and she has a blog too--All Things Dog Blog.

Today our mom is joining up with the Ultimate Blog Party at 5 Minutes for Mom and we're gonna tag along. It's sort of like a way to meet lots of new friends on the Internet.

We just have a couple of questions. Will there be food? Kids? Dogs? Okay, we'll just go and find out. Join us?

All I Got Was a Sock :(
Boy, am I mad at my mom!

I just found out that she's giving away 48 gourmet little-dog meals over at All Things Dog Blog today. Look at me; don't I look like a perfect consumer for those prizes she's handing off to all her readers? Hmmphh!

And all I got was a sock. I'm going to go schedule a meeting with mom. Back later.
