Social Media Fun with Zuke's

by Oliver

My Zuke's hayride was supposed to have started a while ago. I'm wondering where the driver of this wagon has gone. Hmmm......Mom!

Oh well; I guess I could take this opportunity to introduce you to our newest technology here on 5 Minutes for Fido: the Giveaway Tools widget. It should be down there at the bottom of the post, asking you to enter your name and email address. Don't worry, Mom over at All Things Dog Blog assures me your email won't be used for anything except getting in touch with you when you win. That's okay with you, right?

This new widget is the latest in giveaway gadgets. We used to use one named after a helicopter, but this new one has a few extra features we're trying out. Let us know what you think. Did it wake up for you easily? Sometimes Mom says she has to tickle it to come alive by clicking on the post title. NBD, I guess.

So here's the deal. In this new widget you get to choose your entries. There are lots of choices, so just do the ones you like. I liked the one where Mom could put my picture in this cute Zuke's frame. Don't I look handsome? Too bad I can't enter; but YOU can! You actually get points for putting your dog's picture in a frame that WE MADE FOR YOU. It doesn't get any easier than this!

There are lots of other ways to enter also, like Tweeting, social media follows, pinning, and Vine or Instagram videos. FYI, we'll be picking one video to win a $100 Gift Certificate that you can spend on anything you want--seriously!

Not into Vine or Instagram yet? It's okay. I'm not either. But Mom and our partner Miss Paris will be posting How To's on doing these. Want to get started right away? Check out this quick starter on Vine. Mom says that it only takes 2 minutes to make and post a video that will get you the maximum allowable points--whatever that means. She says it's fun, so that works for me. A guy's got to trust his mom, ya know?

Video entries will need to follow 3 Event Barkers rules to be entered: (1) They must be Tweeted, (2) They need to add this statement, including the hashtags: "I #FueltheLove on #BarkFriday with @ZukesPets."  and (3) the theme must be related to dog activities--any type of activity. I'm wondering if afternoon naps count as an activity? Hmmm....I'll have to ask Mom about that. She'll be around with her iPhone soon so maybe it's time for a snooze. I'll keep you posted.

Let's review some of the basics of the #BarkFriday #FueltheLove Twitter Party and then I'll let you get to your entries:

Sponsor:  @ZukesPets (think super yummy, USA-made treats)
Hosts:  @AllThingsDog, @EventBarkers, @DogTipper, @5MinutesforFido (that's me!), and @ToDogWithLove. That's my friend Rocco's mom; I love to do zoomies with Rocco at conference hotels!
Date:  Friday, November 29, 2013
Time:  12 PM ET - 1:30 PM ET (right after your Black Friday early morning shopping!)
Venue Option--TweetChat room: http://tweetchat.com/room/barkfriday
Prizes:  $1000+ in Zuke's treats plus dog toys for all winners
Bonus:  One winner will be chosen for a $100 Gift Certificate for their Video entry. Don't miss this chance to win big in the cash department.

Note to Party Participants:  This Twitter Party has a highly-unusual 2 hashtags. Please be sure to copy this hashtag onto your clipboard before you begin the party. This way you can paste it into each Tweet as you chat during the event. See you at #BarkFriday #FueltheLove!

Event Barkers is working with Zuke's to help them gain online exposure and share the news of their new products. Watch for more excitement with a Blog Hop of assorted giveaways and newsy topics about Zuke's to open here on Friday, November 15.

Note that due to shipping regulations, the prizes in this event are only available to U.S. addresses. Thank you for your understanding.

The Deets on Pet PreTweets for #BarkFriday #FueltheLove

artfully written by Oliver

Tanner Gets Photo Opp with Zuke's Prizes
Okay, I get that I'm not too terribly talented with the camera. I do a better job when I'm in the image, but Tanner seems to have gotten that lucky job of SpokesModel this time. I suppose that's because our mom over at All Things Dog Blog was taking the photo while I was laboring over preparing this post. Sigh.

No matter. I'm playing my blogger role again today, offering you more ways to PreTweet the #BarkFriday #FueltheLove Twitter Party to help you win that wagon full of 15 bags of Zuke's treats. One lucky Tweeter (is that a word?) will grab all 15 bags plus a holiday toy for their dog. That's no chump change!

Good luck in your efforts to win this prize. Here are some Tweets for you to share with your furiends on Twitter:

Before you head off, there's a couple of important tips I can offer for you to improve your odds of winning and have more fun doing it:
  • RSVP in yesterday's post here.
  • Check out our partners on this event for more info as well as additional Tweets to up your chances:
    AllThingsDogBlog.com, DogTipper.com, ToDogWithLove.com.
  • Watch for tomorrow's post when we'll reveal the rafflecopter makeover. Mom says we now call it the Social Media Giveaway; I'm so confused! Enter this and you'll have a chance to win another prize package of 15 bags of Zuke's with a dog toy. But wait; there's more!  We're also dangling a $100 Gift Card as a cash carrot. To win this big shopping spree opportunity, you just need to spend 2 minutes taking a 6-second video with Vine and Tweeting it with the #BarkFriday #FueltheLove hashtags. Be sure to include them both!
  • The Social Media giveaway will include a ton of other fun ways to enter, including sharing a framed pic of your pup and much more. See you tomorrow to extend the fun until #BarkFriday #FueltheLove on November 29.
And don't forget that you can also find Zuke's on Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook!

Note to Party Participants: This Twitter Party has a highly-unusual 2 hashtags. Please be sure to copy this hashtag onto your clipboard before you begin the party. This way you can paste it into each Tweet as you chat during the event. See you at #BarkFriday #FueltheLove.

We're Joining the Zuke's #BarkFriday #FueltheLove Twitter Party

by Oliver

Tanner and I are all about good treats, especially the ones that help to keep us healthy. So we're joining up with the Event Barkers gang to help promote the #BarkFriday #FueltheLove Twitter Party. I get to be one of the cohosts and talk about having fun during the holidays. It's a tough gig, but somepuppy has to do it. It sure won't be Tanner. He's just not too up on Twitter.

Watch our buddies for more information on all these goings on. I think they do a better job than I do at getting the inside track: AllThingsDogBlog.com, DogTipper.com, ToDogWithLove.com.

Your part is pretty much the same as mine, except you get to have a chance to win prizes. Me? Not so much. All you have to do to have a bunch of chances to win are (1) RSVP below, and (2) join us on Twitter at 12 PM ET on November 29. Mom calls that day Black Friday, but I think she made a typo on the party name. Anyways, I think #BarkFriday is much more appropriate since I love to bark. Don't forget that there's 2 hashtags this time: #BarkFriday #FueltheLove.

Can you "Speak"? That's one of my favorite skills. Mom says we'll be taking a Vine video of me speaking and that our party participants can enter to win prizes by posting a Vine video of their dog in any activity. More details on that to come Sunday. Be sure to come back and read up.

Tomorrow I'll have some Tweets for you to share. You can also win by Tweeting about this treat-filled party. I've got all the instructions for embedding (did I spell that right?) my Tweets right here. You'll be able to send out these Tweets with one click, and you won't even need opposable thumbs.

Before I move on to the RSVP, don't forget that you can also find Zuke's on Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram where you'll see lots of active dogs.

Here's an example of how to fill in the RSVP form below. See you tomorrow for more deets on Tweets!

WANTED: Dog Blogging Assistant

by Oliver

I've been working my paws to the bone and wondering if it's time to put in my notice with Mom. It's tough work here, but the pay is great; I get fed well! Any advice? Maybe I could just hire an assistant. You available?

Right now we're busy getting ready for #WorkLikeaDog, our Twitter Party on behalf of @ZukesPets. On top of that, last week I had to escort mom to Washington, DC for Blogpaws to be her PR Front Man. It was a lot of work meeting friends and influencing people (and dogs), but I'm definitely the dog for that job. Mom says my wiggle butt attracts everyone, but I personally think that's a bit embarrassing, so don't repeat it.....please.

Meanwhile, Tanner was home playing with my kids and a bunch of family that visited. How exactly is it that I got appointed to work and he got to show off in the pool and play Fetch? Surely you know that's his favorite game, right?

I'm officially putting my job up for grabs if I can't get a reliable assistant. Tanner apparently has ADD and Jacque is out of control hyperactive. Try to get him to pose for a photo review--not happening! Just for today, though, I'm going to tell you about the yummy treats that Mom and Paris will be giving away at the Event Barkers #WorkLikeaDog Twitter Party.

But first, did you RSVP yet? Don't forget! You could be the big winner in the RSVP drawing to win a huge package of Zuke's treats.

#WorkLikeaDog Prize Packages

Here's the inside track that I got on the prize packages. Mom packs this stuff up on a top shelf to keep Tanner, me and Jacque out of it, but I got Patches to peek, and here's the prize list, including Zuke's best 'Hard Working Treats':

  • 2 bags of Zuke's Mini Naturals
  • 2 bags Zuke's Supers
  • 2 bags Zuke's Hip Action
  • 2 bags Zuke's Power Bones
  • Zuke's tote bag, Tshirt, beverage glass for you
  • Zuke's bandana for your dog
  • A business tie to dress up your pup to head off to work with you on June 21
  • And my fave, a treat pouch for mom or dad to carry your goodies along :)  Ahem! This is VERY important to remember.

courtesy Ruffwear.com
And can you believe there's more! I've overheard mom talking about the Grand Prize. Oh....My....Dog! The Grand Prize winner will be scoring all the loot listed above plus 3 training DVDs, a backpack and a traveling water bowl, to make sure your Fido can carry all his belongings to work and have a watering hole for the day, maybe under your desk?

courtesy Ruffwear.com
Now don't spread this around too much, okay? But here's the deets on the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize winner, in addition to receiving 3 dog training videos and all that loot above, will get a Ruffwear pack and a Bivy collapsible bowl, perfect for hard working dogs, or dogs at play. Don't forget to bring these along when you head off for a hike in the woods and also when you're going to work with mom or dad.
I suppose you're ready to hit that RSVP link above now, right? Before you head off, I want to make sure you know about the pre-party giveaways. In addition to the RSVP drawing I mentioned earlier, you should check out the PreTweet giveaway and the Rafflecopter drawing. All 3 of these winners will be announced at the beginning of the Twitter Party, but need not be in attendance. They each get the whole package of goodies pictured above. If you're unable to come to our party, this is your next best chance to win these great prizes.

Watch DogTipper.com and All Things Dog Blog for more details as we move closer to the party date. I hear there will be more surprises!

5 Minutes for Super Dog Sunday™ Overtime

by Oliver
AllThingsDogBlog.com
Male Modeling :)
This game has definitely extended when sponsors are coming out of the stands to stand up for shelter pets. Go Petfinder! Are they one of the teams playing?

Event Barkers partners All Things Dog Blog and  DogTipper.com have teamed up with Kumfy Tailz to share a review of Kumfy Koatz, a cooling and warming harness. I look handsome wearing it. Right? Of course there's more to this harness than its good looks. I'll be able to stay cool in our Florida heat when mom freezes the gel pack before a walk. I'm liking that idea :)

My housemate, Tanner, likes to swim before our walks so that he dries off during the walk, allowing him to cool off. Me, not so much. I'm a good swimmer but I really don't enjoy it that much. So Kumfy Koatz is a better solution for me.

AllThingsDogBlog.com
Soft  and Kumfy
We have Fido friends in the North that sometimes have to miss out on their walks during Winter. That's our favorite time to walk here in Florida where January and February are beautiful. So we feel badly that our pup friends may get home bound during frigid temperatures or snow storms. The Kumfy Koatz warming harness is an easy way to keep your dog warm and safe during a Winter walk too. The gel pack insert can be warmed according to directions, in your microwave oven, and then inserted in the harness for a Kumfy walk. Notice how clever I was with my spelling there?

The outside layer of fabric on the Kumfy Koatz warming and cooling harnesses has recently been changed to a mesh fabric, available in numberous colors. Did I spell that big word right? Other than the fabric change, the product remains the same. The Kumfy Pax pouch slides easily into its pocket in the chest of the harness to help your dog's inner core organs warm or cool as needed. To learn more, follow the Kumfy Tailz Facebook page, Twitter, or visit their website to see the new fabrics.
Our Petfinder Kitty, Patches

The Kumfy Koatz harness can be used at shelters and in veterinary offices for many therapeutic treatments, both warm and cold. Our giveaway will offer one neoprene Kumfy Koatz to one lucky winner, with another one going to the Petfinder rescue where our Patches came from. We'll give it away in the winner's name so they can feel great about doing something good for a shelter pet. Wondering who Patches is? She's the cat you may occasionally have seen crashing our party here. She has a feisty habit of stealing all the boxes that come in, even this one :(

If you prefer a sure thing to an entry, simply visit the website to select and order your preference of color in the mesh fabric.

Enter by leaving a comment below between now and Thursday, February 21. Please share your Twitter handle or other contact information that will allow us to find you without you leaving an email address. You can also send us an email at AllThingsDogBlog@gmail.com. I'll put mom in charge of looking for this. Good luck!

Event Barkers is continuing their efforts to aid Petfinder shelters by facilitating this Kumfy Koatz giveaway and donation option for pet bloggers. As with Super Dog Sunday™, they have donated their time and not taken a fee for this service to shelters.

The Comfy Pax gel pack pouch should be heated according to website instructions for safety and the longest life of the pouch. Sizing may be found at this same page. For best results we recommend that you take accurate measurements using a soft tape measure. A limited number of harnesses have been provided to us; we cannot make replacements for poorly-fitted harnesses.

#SuperDogPics RSVP is Just the Beginning!

by Oliver
Some of our RSVP Prizes
My Mom and our friend Paris, Tiki and Irie's mom, are at it again. Through their Event Barkers partnership, they're rolling with Super Dog Sunday™, a charity pet photo contest to help our friends at Petfinder Foundation, who support Petfinder and helped us adopt Xena, Patches and Robby. It's a family thing, ya know.

To help our readers get ideas for their Super Dog Sunday photo entries, Mom and Paris have cooked up a Twitter Party called #SuperDogPics. I've been snoozing through most of the details but what I managed to pick up is that you can win loads of cool prizes like the stuff in the photo collage above (this is some of the stuff you'll win just for RSVPing below), and they'll be giving bunches of ideas for theming your photos at the party.

Mom says there is going to be a live artist's illustration going on during the party and we'll have @LifeandDog with us again to answer your photography questions. I also learned that I'll be needed to Tweet again. Better warm up that laptop and practice up my Tweeting skills.

The picture contest is designed for football-themed photos and you can also enter Petfinder adoptable pets. It's easy to help promote a pet who needs a furever home by decking it out with a football theme and sending it in for the contest to EventBarkers@gmail.com. Mom says it's really really important to send the profile page url along with the pet's picture, his name, and the area he's located in. That information will help get more pets adopted. That's good, right?

So please sign up and join us on Sunday at 4 PM ET. I'm copying mom's directions for the sign up sheet and including it below. What have you got to lose? Don't forget to read mom's Twitter Party Tips and check out her post on all the ways you can win great stuff for you and your dog in both of our Super Dog events. I'll see you on Sunday!

Now for the instructions; RSVP below by following the guide I've created, and be sure to use the hashtag #SuperDogPics when you Tweet. If you're unsure about your RSVP, please include an email address so we can reach you to clarify your registration. In order to win prizes at #SuperDogPics, you'll need to RSVP. What's more, there will be a prize just for one of the lucky Tweeps on the RSVP list, so don't be left out :)

Follow this RSVP Guide:

Below the numbered list at the bottom is a blue link that says "Click here to enter". Click this and follow these instructions, using the image above as a guide. In the field that says "Link Title or Blog Title" just enter your Twitter handle.  Notice I entered @EventBarkers. In the second field that says "Link" you'll enter the link to your Twitter account. It will look like this: "http://twitter.com/yourhandlehere".

You can leave your email address and name in the next two fields, if you wish. This will help us reach you if your Twitter handle is listed wrong and you win a prize. We'll need to get in touch! Now click "Enter your link" and that's it. You have completed your RSVP. See you on January 20 prior to the 4 PM ET party opening.

Hear Ye! Here Ye!
#RedCarpetCat is Now for Dogs too!

by Oliver
© AllThingsDogBlog.com
I'll Be Tweeting
 at #RedCarpetCat!
Dude! Did you hear? The #RedCarpetCat Emmy event is also including dogs this year. Gnarly, huh?! Tanner and I are uber excited that mom and Dogtipper finally got it right and added canines. What were they thinking?!!!

We haven't heard what the prizes are for dog sorts, so we'll keep you posted on that. Meanwhile, you should be sure to RSVP so you'll be included in the RSVP drawing on September 19, and also to be eligible to win prizes at the party. There are even going to be pre-party prizes, so be sure to watch Event Barkers and AllThingsDogBlog.com for all the updates. It's awesome!

I'll be Tweeting the night away, and probably fending off the ladies while I'm at it. Do ya think I need a body guard? Tanner! You're nominated!

I'll be sharing @TheTiniestTiger's pics taken with the stars at the Emmy Awards Secret Rooms. Gracey is our sponsor (Shhhh....she's a cat). I don't quite understand that. If they're so secret then how come we know about them? Go figure!

I suppose I better get my little black book out and catch up on the names of the Anipals that are of the female persuasion. I can get some names from Preston. He's usually pretty good at keeping tabs. I better get on that. Don't forget to go RSVP right now so you won't be rushing at the end, and mark your calendars so you won't forget. See ya there. I'll be @5MinutesforFido, the coolest Twitterer at the party ;)

Stale Kibble? Mom Has Solutions!

by Oliver

Mom is back in Twitter Party mode and boy is she going great guns. Between her and her partner, Tiki and Irie's mom, they have got their paws full. Or is that hands? I can't quite keep that straight, but I call them paws.
© AllThingsDogBlog.com
These are Paws, Right?

With tonight's Twitter Party looming large, mom is also busy getting ready for another one: #Gamma2Fresh. These are the folks that make patented airtight pet food storage. I like that. And their YouTube video is so much fun to watch, you've just got to take a minute and enjoy it. I was dancing to their beat!

Tanner and I pow wowed with Xena, Patches, and Robby one time way back in the day, and we decided that we don't like our food going rancid or stale, and we even don't like it to get bugs in it. That may sound strange to you, since I love chasing bugs outside and am a big fan of a good earthworm for a snack, but I really don't like things crawling around in my dinner. After all, it is MY dinner!

So join us for the #Gamma2Fresh Twitter Party so you can learn more about preventing these terrible, awful, no good, very bad problems. Mom and Paris will be giving away pet food containers every 5 minutes, plus you can win by Tweeting, RSVPing and entering the Rafflecopter. I'm not exactly sure what that is, but it sounds like fun. Good luck!

Bond with Your Dog: The Weekly Wag

by Oliver
© All Things Dog Blog
Wait, Tanner!
Mom and Tanner have been very busy practicing this silly game of Fetch lately. The weather here is warmer and Tanner has been back in the pool, the lake, and of course, running at the park. Me? I prefer to visit with the 2 legged sorts and keep out of the way of the big dogs that play so rambunctiously.

Since mom and Tanner, and even my human brothers and sisters, are having such fun playing this Fetch game I thought I'd let you know they are sharing some tips on teaching the game over at All Things Dog Blog. I'll plug in the whole Weekly Wag activity list below. It's sort of like bonding time for dogs and their families.

© All Things Dog Blog
Tanner Fetches a Frisbee
Before I go, let me share one last tidbit. Mom got a sponsorship for the Fetch training series from Petmate. She's running a giveaway of Floatimals, a toy that floats nicely for water Fetch. Me and Tanner both like this toy. Although it is almost as big as I am, it's super light and I can grab the skinny, flappy things that hang down. It's cool. Check it out here. Maybe you'll get lucky and win one in the giveaway of 10! Good luck.

What? No Santa at
Fido's Freebie Friday!
I've been a good sport wearing this silly outfit and now I find out that there won't be a Santa at Fido's Freebie Friday over at All Things Dog Blog today.....or tomorrow! That's just awful. Okay, so there are some great prizes and it's not terribly busy this week so people who enter have a better chance of winning, but still. No Santa!

Fido's Freebie Friday Working Hard Today

by Tanner
Mom's weekly giveaway blog hop is always fun for her readers. Not so much for me and Oliver. We have to watch all those great goodies go out the door to other doggies. What gives? We let mom take all these pictures of us and we completely and totally look adorable in them, and then she gives them away.

Today there are just a ton of giveaways and the Fido's Freebie Friday just opened a few minutes ago. Should I complain to her? Maybe I'll get Oliver to do it. The little one always has more pull with mommies. What do you think?

When you visit All Things Dog Blog you'll see what I mean. It's absolutely totally not fair how much good doggie stuff is being given away to, well, to YOU!

No Fetch for Oliver

by Oliver

Keeps His Distance
So Mom is outside, once again, doing water stuff with Tanner. She always invites me to participate, but this sort of activity doesn't float my boat, if you know what I mean. I'm a great swimmer, but it's not my thing.

The bad part about this is that I get left out when Mom has water toys to review. Like today. Over at All Things Dog Blog, she's got a fetch toy review of  Floatimals, by Petmate, going on. Tanner is having a really great time playing with his new Floatimal. But me? I don't want any part of the water. Mom and Tanner are also giving away some Floatimals to you guys, so if you're interested in a new water toy, now's the time to head on over to All Things Dog Blog. Good luck.

Who Knew? Toys for Zoo Animals!

by Oliver and Tanner
(c) Carrie Boyko
Love the Pup on the Hat!
Imagine our surprise when we opened the package and found a horse Tshirt inside!!! The hat has an adorable pup embroidered on it. No, it doesn't look like Oliver OR Tanner, but it's cute.

Turns out that Jolly Pets makes toys for Zoo animals and horses. Who knew? We read through the brochure and were shocked to find toys for Tigers and all sorts of zoo animals that need to have entertainment just like us pups. Learn something new every day.

Well, we've delivered on our promise to post a photo of the hat and Tshirt here. You can read up on how to win them at this post.

We Love Pup Playtime!

by Tanner and Oliver
© Carrie Boyko
Toni Plays with Oliver and Tanner
Our mom has been busy playing 'blogging' all day. She says she has started Fido's Freebie Friday for bloggers to list their giveaways in a Blog Hop. Sounds like fun, huh?

Tanner and I want to play too. Mom says we can give away anything she doesn't have to review, so we just dug through the goodies and found a Jolly Pets hat and Tshirt. It's really cute, with an embroidered pup on the hat, and perfect for playtime with your pack. Want to win? You can leave a comment here to enter. Be sure to leave us a way to contact you if you're the big lucky winner.

How will you know you won? We'll draw a winner from the comment-entries one week from tonight. Entries close at 5 PM on Thursday, June 23rd. We'll announce the winner on Friday, June 24th. We're so excited to get into the prize-giving gig. What fun! Want to see a picture of the hat? Watch for that coming tomorrow or this weekend. Stay tuned; the camera man is off duty today. :(

We'll list this giveaway here and on All Things Dog Blog's Fido's Freebie Friday, where there are lots of cool giveaways for pet lovers. You might find something neato there, so check it out. See ya soon.

All Things Dog Blog's Weekly Preview

by Tanner
© Carrie Boyko
Tanner Loves his  Birdhouse
Oliver is napping after a particularly long photo session this morning. He's exhausted from trying to get the treat out of a new bone he's testing from the nice folks at Safe Made Pet. They make cool toys out of silicone that is guaranteed to be safe for kids and pets to play with. Now that's a new concept. We'll be reviewing them for you soon at All Things Dog Blog.

This week you'll be entertained by a singing puppy, offered assistance for a fearful dog by one of our trainers, have a chance to enter a dog-themed handbag giveaway, get a new recipe for pup biscuits and find out who won the Hol-ee Roller giveaway. And that's just the highlights. There's much more, but I'm way too busy with my birdhouse toy to read the whole schedule.

Hope you enjoy some surprises as we venture into more fun over at All Things Dog Blog.

Doing Organix Dishes is Such Fun

by Oliver
(c) Carrie Boyko
I Got Dish Duty Today. Yay!

One of our favorite things to do is dishes. After chow time is over, Tanner washes out my dish and I wash out his. I guess I get the best deal here, huh?

Some trainers would not advise allowing this. But our mom taught us about food aggression when we were just pups and we'll have none of that. We share nicely. And that's a good thing, because I'd probably lose everytime. Tanner outweighs me by 7 times. Now that would not be a fair fight!

Back to business. Mom has announced the winners of the 12 bags of Organix dog food over at All Things Dog Blog. She still has the food hidden, so we have not been able to raid the bags :(  Did you win?

A Great Day: Chow Now and a Busy Bone Later

(c) Carrie Boyko
Time to Lose the Sign, Mom!
Busy Bones are in high gear today over at All Things Dog Blog. They are my all time favorite treat. It's sort of like a really slow, enjoyable snack that I can savor and lick out every drop of flavor.

What?! You've never had a Busy Bone? Oh dear. Oh my. You've got to click right over to mom's post on how to make Organix Busy Bones. We'll be eating ours this afternoon. Pics later. Enjoy!

Organix Food Inside
Organic Sweet Potato Topping

These Busy Bones are filled with Organix canned food and a layer of kibble for crunch. Then mom tops them off with organic mashed sweet potatoes for extra fiber and beta carotene. We just love them.

You can also fill a Kong with the same goodies:

Still No Peeking....

by Oliver

What's in That Bowl?
Tanner and I are dying over here. All this talk about dog food quality and we're salivating like a faucet. Mom is writing about all the different no-no's that are in some of the dog foods that we do not eat. Yuck!

We're lucky to get a healthy brand. Mom says she even has some money saving ideas coming up on All Things Dog Blog, to help out folks who need to spend less and still get better food.

We love her Busy Bones, Pupsicles and the Crumb Cookies are the bomb. Stay tuned for all her recipes coming up soon.

Can You Guess What's in My Dish?

by Oliver
First rule is there is no peeking in my dish. Got it?

Here are a few hints to help you:
  • My food is certified organic by the USDA Organic Program.
  • It's made with organic chicken, brown rice and oats, so there's no icky stuff hiding in it. No corn and no wheat.
  • The maker adds lots of fruits and veggies to the recipe--yum!
  • No artificial ingredients means Tanner and I get real food that includes natural forms of fiber and vitamins and healthy fats from fish, so our coats are healthy and shiny.

One more guessing game....did you have any idea what the problem was with the photo on the Surprise Announcement Page? Correct guesses get you an entry into a surprise giveaway on Saturday. I'll give you a little tip; check out my bow tie and Tanner's. Is there something wrong? Good luck! You have until tomorrow afternoon at 5 PM to enter your guess at All Things Dog Blog's Pet Food Pantry post.
